Greetings to all my fellow voicers! I recently had the wonderful opportunity to chat with the warm and lovely Sarah Vone. As a kid Sarah, and others in her family, loved to imitate funny voices. She always hoped to someday play a role in a cartoon. After watching the documentary, “I Know That Voice”, Sarah realized it was possible to have a career in voice over. From then on, the fire was stoked to make her dream a reality. She officially started her training at TVAS approximately two years ago. Sarah enjoys the On-Going Workshops along with the technical classes that are offered. She feels she gained a lot of in depth knowledge from John McClain’s Home Studio Class and Melissa Moat’s Rates, Quotes and Billing Class. Sarah currently is working in commercial, IVR and phone hold genres. She recently booked a phone hold job with Resorts World in New York state, Yay Sarah!! In the future Sarah has plans to pursue character and animation genres. Her dream job would be voicing a main character or even an anonymous character in the Dragon Age video game. Besides being a talented voice over actor Sarah has the amazing ability to make various sounds i.e. the kazoo with her mouth.
