Hello fellow voicers! Say hi to one of the most hilarious guys you will ever meet, Brent Mukai. Brent began his path in voice over when a comedian friend introduced him to Dustin Ebaugh (coach) and TVAS. He has attended TVAS classes and workshops since April of 2016. Brent has a BA in Theater and Film from UNLV. He has appeared in several movies and films along with Improv and Stand-Up performances here in Vegas. Most recently, Brent was the understudy for the lead role of Christian Grey in the musical Fifty Shades of Grey, in which he performed over 25 times. Brent feels each class at TVAS has its own unique value, but his real passion is character development. Brent thoroughly enjoys Dave Fennoy’s classes and Jack de Golia’s audiobook courses. He recommends all students take Melissa Moats’ Rates, Quoting & Billing Class, and Troy Moats’ Business Class. Brent also coaches Improv and other amazingly fun classes at TVAS. His favorite genres are video games and animation, but would like to try voicing documentaries in the future. Another future goal for Brent is producing comedy shows at conventions. He shared with us that this is his eighth year as an instructor for the High School Jesters, an organization that teaches Improv classes in over 32 different schools in the Las Vegas area. Thank you, Brent, for sharing just a few of the many facets of your life. You can contact Brent and listen to his recently produced demo at: brentmukai.com and his email: brentmukai@gmail.com.
